Hehe, I have ordered cockles

In fact, Ankee still sells pig blood (豬紅). I feel the urge to try it, but my subconscious mind keeps telling me 'NO' as in Singapore, pig blood is banned due to food safety concerns, as blood can easily harbor bacteria and diseases if not handled properly. 😟

乾撈麵

This is 炸肉丸 and 炸釀豆腐

and I especially love their delicious "Bawang Merah" 醃紅蔥漬 (Pickled Shallots). Really 酸甜可口，超開胃.

                                                      



Another "Must Try" is the Volcano Ice Coffee   #火山咖啡冰 -  aptly named as the rich, milky kopi overflows into the accompanying saucer

For today breakfast, I have ordered  

黑醬汁乾撈麵

雲吞湯

The wantons were delightful, featuring minced pork fillings that paired perfectly with the flavorful wanton soup.

 

 

燒臘三拼 - comprises of 蜜汁叉燒肉, 燒肉 and 燒鴨

The char siew 蜜汁叉燒肉 was sweet, tender, and moist, with a delicious layer of fat 😋

咖喱米粉

Oh, the curry gravy doesn’t quite capture the authentic richness of real curry flavor. 😐

As is customary when visiting a new café, I ordered: Butter and Kaya Toast, Half-boiled Eggs, and Coffee O

Additionally, I also ordered the Fried Pork Noodle 客家炸肉面

It should be the lard croutons that enhance the fragrance of the noodle 😋

There is a special drink store within the Cafe - Yes! LemonTea  野柠手作   #yeslemontea    #野柠手作

Based on some reviews, the drinks seem to be quite good. Even thot the drink names like “鴨屎香檸檬茶”,  “苦瓜檸檬茶” are quite.... intriguing. 😒

Unfortunately, the drink store opens later at 11 am, whereas we visited for breakfast around 8 am. Looks like we'll have to return another day. 🍸🍹
